20 October 2014 balmy island life

 

I often wonder what it would be like to grow up in a completely different area. Whether it be in the heart of a city, a farm or on an unknown island, not yet having been discovered by a swarm of tourists.  I love the idea of belonging to a community as tight-knit as a family, taking part in local festive traditions and embracing and island life of salt, sand and water.  

Perhaps in another life this may be my reality.
