20 November 2013 confessions of a newly beauty-holic

I'm not very 'beauty' focused...I think my love of fashion takes up so much of my time; that I kind of neglect anything to do with makeup, beauty or hair; other than my everyday makeup look, which may I add is never rubbed in probably, always smeared, or often 'too clumpy'. Yes, it's rather embarrassing...I swear i've had enough makeup malfunctions to last me eternity. 

Saying that, however, something has switched inside of me recently and my interest in trying out new beauty looks is growing rapidly. I have so many different hair styles, hair colours, and beauty looks that I am so eager to try out, I am getting excited just thinking about it!

Some of these include: 

-Getting my nails done more frequently 

-Fake tan! I've recently just got myself some Ella Bache spray tan that I can't wait to try out!

-Dark red lips

-Blonder hair

-Bronzer-I want to nail that perfect summer glow

-Smokey Eye

-Chocolate brown

19 November 2013 boot scootin' baby

It's about time I did a thigh-high boots appreciation post. After all, they are one of three things  filling my mind at the moment ( among Breaking Bad and Dalliance Magazine's relaunch!)

I think they are one of those pieces that you love or hate; after all whenever something in fashion is forward and different you are sure to get a steady range of opinions. I happen to be on the furthest end of the spectrum, with this  one, my love for them perhaps nearing on 'obsession'. 

I think they can look perfect with everything and anything. Paired with mini dresses, skinny jeans or winter coats they will instantly add a whole 'I know about fashion, okay!?' vibe to your outfit...in other words a whole lot of attitude and a hell lot of sass. 

After doing my fair share of research into finding the best pair, the Stuart Weitzman ones are pretty much as good as they get (if you can excuse the price tag!)

It helps that Kate Moss fronts the campaign as well. She could wear a paper bag, and she'd still probably sell it to me.

16 November 2013 stone fox interrupted

Hey everyone! Hope you are all well. 

What do you think of my new blog URL? It was taken from my two favourite movies 'the Virgin Suicides' and 'Girl Interrupted' and I think it sounds quite beautiful...what do you think? 

I've recently got a job, so after I get back from Europe I'll be busy saving up for a better camera so that I can take more personal outfit posts for this blog! Stay tuned!
