Shot by Juergen throughout the 90s, this photographic book records the dozens of hopeful models sent to test with Juergen, and the one's that especially caught his attention. Naive and undiscovered,  still retaining a sense of detachment and edge.

There is something about Hedi Slimane and the subjects he photographs that interests me so deeply. Whether he is shooting a raucous house party, a rodeo, a Californian surfing expedition or fashion's elite; his photographs capture his aesthetic down to a tee. This consistency is carried through everything he does-both design and photography-and it's what makes him so different to any other designer. 

These photograph's of his life, friends and adventures interest me greatly, and make me wish I was apart of his clique, filled with misfits and those with killer stories to tell.

Released a few years ago, but having only been on my radar for a few weeks, this book is perfect if a.) You're obsessed with everything and anything that Mario Testino shoots b.) You love anything that celebrates being young and excited and c.) You have a deep desire to either travel to Rio or BE Brazilian. Or in my case, all of the above. 

In this photographic book, Mario Testino captures Rio De Janeiro HIS way, which of course includes the sensual, spontaneous side of the city.  Featuring candid shots of Brazillian models (Gisele included!), you'll wish you were as wild and carefree as the people within the pages.
