Recently been getting into the menswear collections, and forming a more specific view of how I love men to dress. To put it simply, a mix of Lanvin and Saint Laurent is how I would love my dream partner to dress. Think leather coats and capes, chelsea boots, skinny scarves (very Jamie Hince), and patterns/colours such as camel, stripes and black on black . Oh and layering is a must!

P.S-Does anyone else think that turtlenecks are kinda sexy on a man?

2 December 2014 sheer ambitions

 

So I'm not going to wear Kate Moss's infamous 90s sheer dress any time (I have a fear of being arrested for public indecency to be honest) but I am eager to try wearing peek-a-boo sheer pieces.

I'm not one for colour. Apart from the odd brown bootie or shirt, I usually like to stick to dressing in black or denim.
For me, winter is all about layering of black, with a lot of different textures. Leather, denim, silk, cotton-whatever it may be, it's always best if it's in black. 

This summer hower I'm going to try and find some cool white pieces to mix into my wardrobe. There is nothing I love more than a crisp white shirt of short against a deep brown summer tan.

Stripes have stood the test of time. Throughout time, however, the breton stripe has been the stripe of choice with Brigitte Bardot and Jane Birkin rocking the stripe on their many worldwide adventures. 

Lately though the pinstripe has been coming through as a more classic and refined print. Whether it's on an oversized blazer; or a wide leg pant, it's the perfect way to add a spin to your everyday work pant-top combo wardrobe.
