29 December 2014 I Wanna Dance With Somebody Who Loves Me
Major editorial love in the latest i-D Magazine. Really started to rate Vanessa Traina as one of my favourite stylists. I also love editorials that aren't posed, and look more like a candid adventure as opposed to a planned shoot. It's all about the story that the images tell. Good job team.

Despite the fact that Natalie looks like 10 years younger than her lover in this shoot, I'm really digging the moody vibes, shaggy hair and THE CLOTHES. I'm all for a pair of well-dressed lovers, especially ones in leather, shearling and skinny ties.

Shot by Alexandra Nataf (blog post to come with more of her work!) for Unconditional Magazine, sadly I've had no luck trying to hunt down the stylist!.
Black on black has never looked better, and the stylist has succeeded in not making model Kate Bogucharskaia look swamped with a contrast of tight and loose layers.

This editorial was shot in California, which admittedly I had very little control over BUT I am so pleased with the results. Is it just me, or does Cassy look a Texan bombshell; complete with a deep tan and highlighted hair?

There is nothing quite as luxurious as white, fluffy towels and terry cloth robes, am I right? They lead me to think about awaiting bath times at the Ritz hotel, bright against well-earned tans, sipping champagne and listening to Birkin & Gainsbourg's love duos.
In other words, unless you are apart of the minority who can afford to sleep in the Ritz Hotel, white towels are the next best thing.

You know that an ad campaign has been successful if it not only makes you want to own the product it's selling but also makes you to want to actually become the person portrayed in the images.
Calvin Klein has this influence on me.
Not only am I ridiculously in love with Calvin Klein underwear after seeing it all over my Instagram feed for the digitial 'My Calvins' campaign; but I'm also obsessing over the image that Calvin Klein portrays in these campaigns. I don't know about you, but I'm more than happy to pay $60 for underwear if it means I'll become somewhat like the 'Calvin Klein Girl' that Lara, Abbey, Christy and Bambi all nail so damn well.

Seriously...after the Anthony Vacarello slashed white satin dress, her Vogue Paris June 2013 editorial and her magazine '25 magazine' there is seriously no one who dresses as well/shoots as well/works as hard as Ms Rubik. Normally I would avoid glitzy dresses...I'm more of a suede, satin and leather kinda girl, avoiding sparkles when I can to avoid looking like a 13 year old at some school disco.
All I know is that a.) I would trade lives with Anja in a flash and b.) I need a spray tan and blonde highlights stat!

Do you ever see an editorial so good, it makes you more than excited for the future, with the hope that one day you can produce something just as good?
Oui?
Well for me, this editorial does exactly that. With minimum makeup, and dampened hair the primary focus is on each dress, the delicacy and draping of each one complimenting each model's body perfectly.

Umm, is this not the coolest thing ever? Dalliance cover girl Valentina Ruby, mimics Kate Moss's msot iconic 90s photo's shot by the amazing Natalia Parsonson's.
The relaxed summer shoot perfectly does justice to the pictures that made Kate into the supermodel that she is today; and I can definitely see Valentina going down that path and gaining the same amount of exposure and success!
