26 October 2012 Khaki Jackets

With countries all over the world either being in spring or autumn, a great jacket, that can be worn in both seasons is the khaki jacket! They also fit perfectly in the military-inspired; and are perfect material to match with others! Just think denim/leather/wool+khaki=perfect combo!

How to style them?

My two favourite ways to style them are both super casual, and are great for a day out shopping, casual day at work or outdoor lunch with friends!

1. The first way i would style this jacket, is pairing it with a great pair of boyfriend jeans, an oversized white shirt and a pair of tan sandals or lace up oxfords!

2. The second way is for those a little more daring and edgy with your style. It's right on trend, and doesn't use as many basics/staples as the previous outfit. It includes the khaki jacket, contrasting with some leather pants; and a super cute sneaker wedge!

4 October 2012 Baseball caps are backkk

At first when i first saw a polyvore collection with a leather baseball cap, i didn't think too much of it. Sure it was cool and edgy, but I had no idea how to style it! Then i came across a blogspot, featuring leather caps and I knew I had to get one! I found a great one which hopefully I am going to buy soon!

Baseball caps are definitely in style now, and are added to that sport luxe trend which i am seeing a lot of lately! I especially love the printed, faded caps which can be the ultimate accessory for a laidback, tomboy-inspired outfit. Hawaiian print caps are also high on my list!

Fashion Week Update

Hi everyone, just a quick blog post about Paris, and New York fashion week. Many designers have been show casting their spring/summer collections, which has been so exciting! It's so exciting to see what's going to be in trend and hitting our stores very soon!

The street style snaps have been gorgeous, and I definitely think that the designers have been mixing up the runway a little bit, with Chanel having a very different sequence for the models to follow, and Louis Vuitton using the escalator as it's catwalk.

To be honest I didn't love the Sass and Bide collection as much as i thought. The heavy accents aren't exactly my thing, but I am sure their next collection will impress me more!

Graphic, vintage tee's are coming back! They were seen all over New York and London Fashion Week, being snapped up by all the street style paparazzi. They can be in the form of rock band tee's, random bright patterns or maybe even a print of your favourite tv cartoon when you were younger. They can be worn dressed down or slightly dressed up, paired with denim cut off shorts, leather skirts, boyfriend jeans, you name it!

I was inspired to make this post by Givenchy's rottweiler sweater, which I have seen all over street style blogs. Balenciaga has also given them a shot, with a sci-fi edge to them.
